About the Role
The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for selling products to diverse geographies/industries.
Key Activities
Target existing, past, and prospects with cold calls, follow-ups, and in-person meetings to introduce the company to customers in the Western US market.
Collaborate with vendor reps for targeted calls and continuous product knowledge.
Work with Sales Leadership, Operations, Product Management, and Customer Service to provide high levels of customer service and support.
Ability to create a ‘buying atmosphere’ and ask for the order.
Maintain and manage active sales pipeline of new business opportunities.
Work with existing accounts to maintain business relationships and promote the company as the best choice for their packaging solutions.
Preferred Skills
Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills required.
Ability to effectively present information to internal and external partners.
Education and Experience
3 – 5 years of successful Packaging Industry sales experience
Experience and knowledge in Packaging strongly preferred with direct food contact, Plastic Films, Corrugated, and Pallet Protection materials experience a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for email, in-person, and phone cold calls and follow-ups.
