About the Role
The National Sales Representative will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.
Key Activities
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the labeling or folding carton industry.
Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges to provide tailored solutions.
Act as the main point of contact with our customers.
Vigorously advocate for clients within the organization.
Sales and Revenue Growth: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within key accounts in labels or folding carton, packaging in the beauty industry.Â
Collaborate with sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
Track and report on key account performance and revenue metrics.
Relentlessly work to drive and generate value for our customers.
Account Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to align strategies and deliver on client expectations.
Identify opportunities for account expansion and growth.
Communication and Presentations: Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on products, services, and industry trends.
Conduct presentations to showcase the value proposition and address client needs.
Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Ensure all customer concerns, questions and inquiries are dealt with promptly and effectively.
Contract Negotiations: Negotiate contract terms and agreements with clients.
Ensure that contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
Collaborate with legal and financial teams to finalize and execute contracts/agreements.
Customer Satisfaction and Retention: Monitor and measure customer satisfaction levels.
Proactively address issues or concerns raised by key clients.
Continuously strive to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities.
Preferred Skills
Excellent customer-service skills, and the ability to handle multiple duties/assignments effectively and efficiently.
Strong knowledge of production methods, systems, and continuous-improvement processes.
Education and Experience
BA/BS Degree in business or applicable field.
Five (5) or more years of work experience in a fast-paced sales/customer service or similar work environment.
Must have packaging (primary/secondary), labeling or folding carton sales experience to be successful in this role to be considered.
