About the Role

The Maintenance Supervisor will have a strong technical background, leadership experience, and familiarity with food industry operations.

Key Activities

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of three maintenance technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.

  • Coordinate daily tasks, prioritize work orders, and allocate resources effectively to meet operational demands.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

  • Facility and Preventative Maintenance

  • Develop and oversee preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production.

  • Conduct fault investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational excellence initiatives.

  • Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, food safety hygiene standards, and company policies.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, taking corrective actions as necessary.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a regulated food environment is highly preferred

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred; an Associate’s degree and 5+ years of relevant leadership experience is acceptable in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

  • At least 3 years of maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, is preferred.

  • Prior experience with automation
