About the Role
The Sales Account Representative is responsible for growing our folding carton and print services business by identifying new opportunities, expanding relationships with existing customers, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Activities
Business Development: Prospect and acquire new customers in Southern California and the Bay Area, with a focus on food, consumer products and wine/liquor businesses.
Identify opportunities to grow the folding carton business within current accounts by uncovering additional packaging needs.
Promote our full suite of services, including luxury wrapped rigid boxes created with the machine.
Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction.
Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and providing tailored packaging solutions.
Product Sales: Sell folding cartons, printed paperboard, and corrugated solutions for consumer goods, including pizza boxes and other packaging with added features like clear windows.
Offer value-added solutions such as paperboard sheets for pallets, slip sheets, layer sheets, and pads.
Market Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends and customer demands, particularly in the wine, liquor, and consumer goods sectors.
Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to refine product offerings and identify emerging opportunities.
Collaboration: Partner with internal design, production, and customer service teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
Support marketing initiatives by sharing success stories and contributing to promotional campaigns.
Preferred Skills
Experience with wine, liquor, or consumer goods packaging is highly preferred.
Education and Experience
Degree preferred or strong experience
A minimum of 4-5 years of business development or sales experience in B2B sales is required.
Experience in the packaging/printing/ folding carton industry is an asset.
