About the Role
The Plant Manager will lead overall operations at the assigned plant and achieve established goals for safety, quality, service, and productivity.
Key Activities
Assure compliance and improvements to the food safety management system and employee safety initiativesÂ
Food Safety Team MemberÂ
Execute the Talent Management process to ensure continuity in key positions within the operations teamÂ
Responsible for the staffing and overall coaching and development of your teamÂ
Execute operational conformance to all regulatory requirementsÂ
Primary responsibility to ensure equipment issues/failures are resolved properly & timelyÂ
Ensure Plant Floor Operators are being properly trained for the technical operating parameters by the Process EngineerÂ
Effectively manage the bottom-line cost of operations, which includes yield/loss of ingredientsÂ
Planned and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.Â
Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.Â
Collaboratively develop specific KPI targets/dashboards for each production line for the Operations Leaders to manage their processesÂ
Gain knowledge to troubleshoot and optimize the processÂ
Responsible to ensure manufacturing process SOPs are implemented & being executed.Â
Preferred Skills
Ability to work collaboratively.Â
Prior consumer packaging experience is preferred.
Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Manufacturing Management, Operations Management or Engineering is requiredÂ
Minimum of 10 - 12 years experience in a manufacturing organization, including managerial experienceÂ
At least 3 years' of UHT dairy processing experience is required.Â
