


About the Role
The Direct Mail Production Manager will be responsible for leading, mentoring, training, and coaching the Mailing Department to produce quality products in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Key Activities
Forecasting & Scheduling: Forecast mail sales pipeline with the Scheduling and as needed, Director of Sales.
Schedule complex mail projects with sensitive data.
Ensure no delays in job completion.
Workflow & Efficiency: Revise or create secure workflows.
Identify areas for time, material, and postage savings.
Advise sales leadership on improvements for better results.
Document Department Procedures & Training Documents
Strategic Participation: Engage in strategic discussions for product growth and customer acquisition.
Advise on industry technology advancements.
Partner with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Solutions Architecture: On new projects/opportunities, consult with sales and/or clients to map out ideal workflows.
Preferred Skills
Stay updated on USPS rules and regulations.
Keep the production floor clean and organized.
Education and Experience
High school graduate/GED
Minimum of 5 Years in a similar managerial position with direct reports
Knowledge of Mailing equipment (Screen is a plus) and their capabilities and uses
