About the Role

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for plays a critical role in maintaining strong customer relationships, coordinating with production and sales teams, processing orders efficiently, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction while identifying and promoting business opportunities.

Key Activities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

  • Proactively communicate order updates, address inquiries, and resolve any issues promptly.

  • Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently from receipt to delivery.

  • Monitor order status and coordinate with production, scheduling, and shipping teams to ensure timely fulfillment.

  • Address and resolve discrepancies related to orders, production, or delivery.

  • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and business opportunities.

  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure customer specifications and quality standards are met.

  • Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels and address concerns to maintain long-term relationships.

  • Identify opportunities to promote additional products or services to customers.

  • Assist in preparing quotes, pricing adjustments, and contract renewals as needed.

Preferred Skills

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in order management systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Education and Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role, with a focus on the corrugated manufacturing industry.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of corrugated packaging products, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
