


About the Role
The Account Manager is responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business relationships with independent and large-scale processors and restaurant groups.
Key Activities
Drive the sale of the Company's products and services by educating customers on our vast array of capabilities, food safety standards, and service support.
Boost sales by performing cost-benefit and needs analysis presentations for customers and prospects which highlight solutions that utilize the Company's products and services.
Implementing innovative sales initiatives to achieve the sales goals and customer satisfaction objectives of the Company.
Generate and pursue sales leads as well as potential client relationships using cold calling techniques, business directories, referrals, onsite field visits, etc.
Develop and execute marketing strategies to compete with other individuals and/or companies who sell similar products and services.
Meet or exceed established sales quotas while maintaining accepted delinquency/loss levels on the portfolio.
Partner with the internal departments, when necessary, to maximize sales and deal flow.
Attend meetings, sales events, and training seminars to keep abreast of the latest industry developments.
Significant travel within an assigned geographical area of, but not limited to California, or hosting Tradeshow cities.
Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
Preferred Skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent, work environment, as well as part of a team.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and familiarity with CRM practices.
Education and Experience
BS/BA degree or equivalent, preferably Meat Science / Food Science / Packaging
3+ years of sales management and representative experience in the sales industry. Industrial Food Sales are preferred.
A strong background in outside sales.
