


About the Role
The CNC Mill Machinist is responsible for operating machines on a repetitive basis to produce inventory parts as required to meet production schedules.
Key Activities
Efficient in the planning and operating three or more CNC lathe/mill machines to produce new and existing parts by reading blueprints and work orders while utilizing basic knowledge of CNC programming.
Operates machines to maximum performance by understanding capabilities, tooling, material characteristics, and basic machining principles.
Utilizes proper tool selection by studying dimensions and tolerances of parts, demonstrating knowledge of tooling, speeds and feed rates, and material characteristics.
Operates production equipment by loading and unloading stock, inspecting parts and performing all secondary operations including but not limited to drilling, deburring, etc.
Preferred Skills
Demonstrated ability to use correct inspection equipment for the given feature (i.e. calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
Education and Experience
MUST have a CNC machine certificate
Must-Have 5 years of experience
