


About the Role
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that objectives are attained in a consistent cost-effective manner that’s consistent with quality requirements.
Key Activities
Oversee all phases of the production process and review all maintenance needs within the department with the Maintenance & Engineering management staff.
Assist the Health & Safety Program to meet all Company goals established.
Work alongside the Production Manager to meet or exceed any and all external audits, assisting with internal audit groups and providing better quality management techniques.
Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment. This includes correcting unsafe acts/conditions, facilitating monthly safety meetings, performing monthly safety inspections, and investigating accidents, as required.
Supports the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the food safety system.
Manage and control facility equipment to ensure we meet all environmental regulations of the Federal, State, and local governments.
Responsible for assuring compliance with all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criteria including the Good Manufacturing Practices, the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), and associated Preventive Controls.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Provides administration and supervision of the plant production function as directed.
Adheres to all health, food safety, HACCP, Allergen, sanitation standard operating procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Preferred Skills
Excellent time management, prioritization, presentation, and negation skills • Strong and effective communication skills – written & oral
Computer Proficiency (MS Office Applications)
Education and Experience
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership position, preferably Food and Beverage, preferred.
Proven track record of successfully delivering results and leading people/projects in a manufacturing environment
