


About the Role
The Sales Director will be responsible for managing (and growing) a national sales force of Account Managers.
Key Activities
Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Direct and manage a disperse team of Account Managers.
Recruiting, qualifying, and hiring new Account Managers at all three offices.
Setting performance objectives for entire team and coaching to achievement.
Identify prospective customers using business directories, leads from existing clients, participation in organizations, or trade show or conference attendance.
Lead Management across all Account Managers.
Quota setting and quota attainment across all Account Managers.
Conducting weekly Supply/Demand (sales) meetings.
Creating and managing sales-related bonuses and contests.
Reporting company-wide lead management, quota attainment, etc. to leadership.
Loss reporting.
Order problem resolution.
Developing HQ relationships with accounts where we service multiple locations.
Develop and deliver consistent marketing “messaging” throughout the Account Management team (so we have one common “voice” to the market).
Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information.
Preferred Skills
CRM excellence.
Loss Report analysis and follow-up.
Workflow coordination.
Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree in Business or related field
Minimum 10+ years managing / exceeding $20MM+ in Solution Selling.
Minimum 10+ years managing complex relationships.
