About the Role

The Sales Director will be responsible for managing (and growing) a national sales force of Account Managers.

Key Activities

  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.

  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

  • Direct and manage a disperse team of Account Managers.

  • Recruiting, qualifying, and hiring new Account Managers at all three offices.

  • Setting performance objectives for entire team and coaching to achievement.

  • Identify prospective customers using business directories, leads from existing clients, participation in organizations, or trade show or conference attendance.

  • Lead Management across all Account Managers.

  • Quota setting and quota attainment across all Account Managers.

  • Conducting weekly Supply/Demand (sales) meetings.

  • Creating and managing sales-related bonuses and contests.

  • Reporting company-wide lead management, quota attainment, etc. to leadership.

  • Loss reporting.

  • Order problem resolution.

  • Developing HQ relationships with accounts where we service multiple locations.

  • Develop and deliver consistent marketing “messaging” throughout the Account Management team (so we have one common “voice” to the market).

  • Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information.

Preferred Skills

  • CRM excellence.

  • Loss Report analysis and follow-up.

  • Workflow coordination.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field

  • Minimum 10+ years managing / exceeding $20MM+ in Solution Selling.

  • Minimum 10+ years managing complex relationships.
