About the Role
The Night Manager oversees all night personnel for production and sanitation, conducts regular inspections, and ensures a clean and hygienic production environment in the facility.
Key Activities
Oversee and monitor night production operations and sanitation including, making instantaneous decisions, primarily without other leaders’ immediate involvement while on assigned shift.
Oversees production goals and line standards (safety, productivity, quality, customer service and cost standards), helping online where needed.
Ensure order accuracy and the process of First In, First Out, First to Expire (FIFOFE) is always maintained per requirements
Compile, maintain and ensure all necessary records, inspection checklists, reports and logs are properly filled out.
Oversee cleaning and inspection of equipment, assisting when necessary
Properly resolve or refer personnel and operational issues as they arise
Offer Production Manager all methods of improving the production or organization of work
Ensures all specifications and procedures for quality assurance and control are met
Establishes a strong team spirit in its departments by promoting communication and respect
Is responsible for the integration and training of new employees in accordance with the company policy
Preferred Skills
College degree preferred
Mechanically inclined preferred
Education and Experience
Relevant experience in food manufacturing and personnel management
Sanitation experience in food manufacturing
Prior supervisory experience
