


About the Role
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and strategizing the end-to-end supply chain areas of logistics and distribution.
Key Activities
Strategically manage logistics, transportation, inventory management, and warehouse needs
Establishes excellent relationships with vendors, logistics suppliers, transportation companies, and customers to obtain the best prices and most efficient results for material and service needs
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, time management and organizational skills
Manage and utilize inventory controls and training to ensure the accuracy of stock records
Implement and manage processes for quality control, shipment accuracy and loss prevention
Professionally and effectively supervises, coaches, hires and trains warehouse staff, including completion of annual performance reviews for staff
Identifies areas of improvement and implements solutions to enhance efficiency
Responsible for safety oversight and training of warehouse staff
Motivate and help lead the warehouse team to achieve goals and objectives
Communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders, including internal departments external partners and customers
Oversees equipment quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs
Works to meet cost, budgeting, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets based on projected demand for products and services
Collaborate with Technical, Sales, Business Operations, IT and Finance Departments to ensure overall smooth logistics operations
Identifies and implements methods to increase efficiency in the supply chain process, such as developing new shipping route alternatives and/or finding ways to reduce costs or decrease time in transport from vendors and on deliveries
Maintains metrics and analyzes data to assess performance and proactively recommends and implements improvements
Responsible for keeping up to date and in compliance with all federal, state, and relevant laws, and safety regulations and ensuring carrier compliance with Standard’s policies and procedures
Plan, recommend and coordinate space allocation and usage
Maintain a safe, well-trained, informed staff in safety measures that benefit and protect warehouse staff and those visiting the warehouse and/or our facilities.
Responsible for management of 24/7 Emergency parts response
Leads by example and works well with others in a spirit of teamwork
Preferred Skills
Forklift experience and Certification, preferred
Experience with Salesforce, Force.com Platforms, Microsoft Office Suites and Exchange, and Zenkraft Software, is a plus
Education and Experience
Minimum of bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent working experience
Proven record of 4+ years of successful supervisory/leadership experience
Previous experience within the print finishing industry and equipment, preferred
Previous experience and established comfort level working in a warehouse facility
