About the Role
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, and administrative functions. You will oversee, train and evaluate staff. Strong leadership and multi-tasking skills are needed in this fast paced environment.
Key Activities
Works well and can problem-solve in a fast-paced environment to ensure on-time delivery and exceed expectations of our customers, clients, and employees
Effectively schedule shifts that align with volume and operation hours
Proven record of leading teams to hit key KPIs and metrics for the operation
Monitor and implement continuous process improvement best practices
Adjust labor allocation throughout your shifts to meet and exceed plans and forecasts
Demonstrates the leadership qualities needed to motivate and engage a team
Ability to navigate technology, including WMS system functionality
Being hands-on, coach, train, and develop Warehouse Associates / Leads to be efficient with processes and procedures
Empathetic leader cares deeply about the success of their team and their overall development and growth.
Preferred Skills
Demonstrates a high level of teamwork, partnering cross-functionally to ensure a successful operation and organization as a whole.
Possesses strong attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records.
Education and Experience
5+ years fulfillment/distribution experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role supervising diverse teams.
BA/BS degree a plus or equivalent work experience.
