


About the Role
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing facility and plant maintenance, planning and executing planned production outages, installation & equipment upgrades, and capital expense projects.
Key Activities
Perform machining work and precision repairs on mechanical components to maintain and improve converting machinery performance.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and services on complex mechanical systems, using machining skills to fabricate and fit parts as needed.
Executed equipment modifications, changeovers, and upgrades on rewinders, wrappers, and case packers with minimal downtime.
Diagnose mechanical failures and perform root cause analysis, using your machining and mechanical expertise to deliver long-term solutions.
Handle repair tasks ranging from fine-tuning to major overhauls of industrial machinery.
Lead equipment calibrations and precision alignments to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with management to implement machine improvements and conduct test runs, ensuring readiness for full-scale production.
Maintain a clean and well-organized machine shop, including tools, spare parts, and workspaces, to enhance operational efficiency.
Document all maintenance and repair work, ensuring transparency and accountability across the team.
Preferred Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues efficiently.
Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team, contributing to shared goals and process improvements.
Education and Experience
Experience as a machinist with a mechanical background is required.
Relevant certifications or formal training in machinery maintenance or machining are a plus.
