About the Role
The Materials Coordinator is responsible for reviewing suppliers, comparing costs, building relationships, and recommending sound decisions on cost savings and strategy for purchasing.
Key Activities
Qualifying and tracking incoming materials.
Preparing receiving reports for production and inventory control.
Monitoring, testing, and packaging supplies.
Assist with coordinating finished goods preparation and load shipment schedule.
Working directly with the Plant Manager and Supervisors.- The position would involve being a liaison between the Supervisors and the Plant Manager. As the candidate develops, they would be providing direction to the Supervisors to execute the Plant Manager’s daily plan.
Preferred Skills
Working knowledge of Windows / Excel / Outlook / Word / (Access).
Bilingual (Spanish).
Education and Experience
Working knowledge of various materials to include: PET, PVC, PE, PETG,PP, HIPS, ABS, OPS, PLA.
Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
