About the Role
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a range of municipal vehicles, including buses, fire trucks, street sweepers, and refuse trucks.
Key Activities
Experience in mechanical, High Voltage Systems, Cummins Engines, after treatment, and electrical diagnostics, MTO inspections, repairs, and maintenance
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with municipal vehicles
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in maintaining detailed service records and reporting
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and on-site
Relevant technical certifications and training.
Preferred Skills
Previous experience with fleet management or municipal vehicle maintenance is a plus.
Education and Experience
A minimum 3-5 years of experience in machinery and conveyor equipment experience is required.
High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
