About the Role
The Plant Administrator is responsible for overseeing a range of administrative, financial, and operational functions to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the site. This role combines responsibilities in accounting, logistics, human resources, and payroll administration.
Key Activities
Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and financial reporting.
Reconcile accounts, maintain general ledger entries, and assist with monthly close.
Collaborate with corporate finance and external accountant as needed.
Administer employee onboarding, benefits enrollment, and personnel records.
Process payroll accurately and on schedule; maintain compliance with wage and hour laws.
Support employee relations, policy implementation, and compliance with HR regulations.
Generate shipping documents, including bills of lading and packing slips.
Serve as the point of contact for site communications and internal coordination.
Support management in preparing reports, schedules, and documentation.
Implement and maintain processes to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
Preferred Skills
Direct experience with payroll software is required; proficiency in ADP is a plus.
Strong understanding of payroll systems, HR practices, and financial processes.
Education and Experience
Associate's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field; or a minimum of three (3) years of directly relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Direct experience with accounting software is required; proficiency in Sage 50 is a plus.
