


About the Role
The Senior Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance, preventive and otherwise, on all operational and facility equipment. Participates in Manufacturing Process Improvement initiatives related to equipment and other related equipment; evaluates malfunctions, troubleshoots equipment and systems.
Key Activities
Maintaining and repairing food processing equipment.
Installing new or replacement equipment.
Maintaining the building and grounds.
Low-pressure boiler operation, glycol refrigeration systems.
meat processing equipment such as grinders, mixers, and sausage stuffers.
cookhouses and drying rooms.
vacuum sealing and thermoforming packaging equipment.
Preferred Skills
Must be self-motivated, with excellent time management, detail oriented, and takes pride in their work.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed, after hour on call and or some limited.
Education and Experience
At least 10 years in food manufacturing maintenance.
