About the Role

The Customer Service Manager will lead a team of five Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) while working closely with various departments, including Production, Scheduling, Sales, Accounting, Design, Shipping, Quality, Safety, and vendors.

Key Activities

  • Manage and develop a team of 5 Customer Service Representatives, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure customer needs are balanced with production capabilities.

  • Oversee all customer service activities within the sales and manufacturing environment, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.

  • Collaborate with Production, Scheduling, and Sales teams to meet customer expectations and maintain optimal operational efficiency.

  • Analyze and refine customer service processes to improve performance, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

  • Utilize advanced software and technology to manage customer data, track orders, and generate reports.

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate work preferred.

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible customer service experience, with at least 2 years managing multiple employees in a manufacturing environment.

  • Significant experience in the corrugated packaging industry is required.
