About the Role

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, understanding industry trends and opportunities for growth, and fostering strong customer and broker relationships.

Key Activities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. 

  • Identify new opportunities and assess customer needs to tailor product offerings effectively. 

  • Collaborate with senior management to set sales objectives and budget. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. 

  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively. 

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers. 

  • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies. 

  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management. 

  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales processes and product offerings. 

  • Stay up-to-date on product offerings and innovations. 

  • Conduct market research to understand competitors, trends, and opportunities. 

  • Oversee new product development and implementation. 

Preferred Skills

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Willingness to travel as needed 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, or a related field. 

  • Proven experience in retail or food service sales (5+ years preferred). 

  • Protein/fresh food experience is required.

  • Seafood experience highly preferred.
