


About the Role
The HR Associate will assist with day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and record keeping.
Key Activities
Manage employee data in the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date employee files.
Support timekeeping and payroll processes as needed, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
Assist in the preparation and administration of employee benefits programs while ensuring compliance with regulations. Help employees with questions, issues, and enrollment.
Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, liaising with recruitment agencies, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate records, including applications, resumes, and applicant logs.
Help organize and document employee training and development programs, including orientation and onboarding and health and safety.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and coordinate employee engagement initiatives and events.
Ensure timely completion and assist managers and supervisors as needed to complete the performance management process, including employee performance reviews, growth plans, and Performance Improvement Plans.
Maintains manager and employee confidence by keeping human resources information confidential.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Help develop, update, and implement company policies and procedures.
Other tasks and projects as necessary to aid the company.
Preferred Skills
Bi-lingual, English/Spanish
Familiarity with ERP systems
Education and Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a human resource role.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, related field, or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with HRIS systems and essential HR functions.
