


About the Role
The Sales Manager is responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work; training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and developing employees; and resolving problems.
Key Activities
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
Prepare action plans, strategies and visit schedules to identify/develop specific targets
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
Identify and resolve client concerns.
Work in CRM program to input activity, potentials/closings, follow-up, and adherence to plans/goals.
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
Preferred Skills
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
A highly motivated and results-orientated individual who can work both independently and within a team environment.
Education and Experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
