


About the Role
The Parts Manager will provide support for all maintenance-related needs and work alongside the maintenance manager/technicians and engineering on process improvements.
Key Activities
Performance of duties assigned with focus on safety, quality (of product and task) and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Hire, train, motivate, and supervise department staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
Forecasting daily parts usage, ordering appropriate parts and equipment.
Track daily use of parts and orders.
Work with maintenance to identify parts that are removed due to equipment changes or equipment being removed.
Ensuring purchase orders are created in accordance with company policy.
Monitor parts availability and usage in coordination with production planning to support just-in-time (JIT) inventory practices.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
Conduct Daily/Weekly/Monthly Cycle Counts, and quarterly full inventory counts.
Control inventory, by making sure that parts are being signed out, and received in the system.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area that aligns with company policies and safety standards
Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by management.
Preferred Skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience
3-5 years of parts room experience.
Good working knowledge of both electrical and mechanical parts.
Knowledge of hardware such as, pneumatic fittings, O-rings, seals, nuts and bolts, lubricates, etc.
