Field Service Technicians often work with packaging equipment, conveyors, PLC-controlled machinery, electrical and mechanical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic components, sensors, and industrial controls. Their work may include equipment installation and commissioning, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, training customer personnel, documenting service activities, and collaborating with engineering, operations, vendors, and customers. Field Service Technicians are expected to understand how equipment performance impacts production, quality, uptime, and customer operations.
