


About the Role
The Plant Manager will monitor and coordinate the effective and efficient utilization of employees through proactive, high participation, work team involvement. The position directs all day-to-day activities of the plant, including both the paper and converted products lines, consistent with company policies and procedures.
Key Activities
Monitor and drive expected outputs of all machines.
Provide explanation if expected output is not meant.
Innovate and implement methods to increase production output.
Hold employees accountable to production and safety standards.
Delegate responsibilities of housekeeping appropriately.
Ensure all delegated duties are carried out.
Gather quotes and place orders for any goods/services related to the upkeep of equipment and building.
Create documentation protocols and ensure that all operations records are properly maintained and reviewed.
Instill and enforce a high level of quality that must be maintained with outgoing product.
Maintain inventory organization and accountability.
Conduct Monthly Safety Meetings.
Preferred Skills
Experience in a supervisory role.
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
Education and Experience
Experience with an ERP System (ex., SAP, Oracle, PaperSoft).
Experience in Paper Converting (Rewinding/Sheeting) is a plus.
