


About the Role
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for accounting activities to support in the preparation of the month-end close. This person will work under defined deadlines and must be able to manage the daily A/P and A/R. This role will provide critical support functions to the executive team.
Key Activities
Evaluate and monitor customer credit limits to support order fulfillment decisions.
Conduct account follow-ups to ensure timely collections and minimize aging balances.
Analyze and maintain bad debt reserves.
Prepare monthly journal entries for close, including entries related to rebates, royalties, and departmental spend.
Maintain and update ERP system records related to customer and vendor accounts.
Coordinate the issuance and reconciliation of corporate credit cards.
Preferred Skills
Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a deadline-driven environment.
Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
