About the Role
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting the operations of packaging, shipping, purchasing and supply chain for a company.
Key Activities
Place orders for products and supplies. Â
Tracking the progress of all shipments and addressing problems.Â
Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another.Â
Receive products and coordinate delivery.Â
Posts Purchase Order receipts in Traverse.Â
Performs daily functions for Derma Care Products.Â
Take steps to avoid quality control issues. Become an integral part of the MRB team.Â
Manages activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met.Â
Records vendor KPI’s on a weekly basis. Â
Provides oversite on cycle counts, scrap, and inventory of goods and materials. Â
Streamlines shipping, packaging, and purchasing processes.Â
Work with the Engineering group on maintaining current supplier drawings. Become a strong user in QT9.Â
Point of contact for controlled documents to/from vendors.Â
Oversees international shipments; paperwork preparation, quoting, and scheduling.
Preferred Skills
excellent documentation experience
food and beverage experience would be an asset
Education and Experience
3+ years of 3rd party warehouse experience.
strong experience with brokers (international experience)
