


About the Role
The Account Manager will build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with their contacts, always striving to find the products that best fit the individual needs of the client.
Key Activities
Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs
Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
Independently works on estimating pricings for customers
Submit purchase orders for order entry
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Recommends changes in products by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.
Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about consumer behavior.
Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.
Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.
Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
Identifying industry trends.
Preferred Skills
Ability to calculate figures as necessary. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in sales, communications, or related field.
Must have 2+ years of experience in Packaging or Print Sales experience. Must have extensive, accurate, product knowledge.
