About the Role
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services and preventative maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
Key Activities
Ensures the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on a variety of production machines.
Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications for troubleshooting malfunctions.
Locate sources of problems by observing machinery in operation.
Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Complete a shift turnover daily using a computer.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related company goals through the support of production.

Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Be a champion of Continuous Improvement Activities.
Must have basic computer and report writing skills.
Education and Experience
3-5 years’ experience in a Maintenance or high-level machine operator role within a manufacturing setting is required.
Experience with Extrusion, thermoforming, injection molding, high-speed printing, and assembly machines strongly preferred but not required.
