

About the Role
The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for driving new revenue growth through proactive business development, identifying and pursuing new opportunities, and establishing strong relationships with prospective clients.
Key Activities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth targets
and expand regional market share.
This is a generalist position across several selling channels, including retail, cash &
carry, wholesale/distributor, manufacturing, and foodservice.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategically targeting potential
clients and industries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their
needs and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors, providing
insights and recommendations to senior management.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales
campaigns, promotional activities, and product launches.
Analyze sales data and market research to identify areas for growth and
improvement, making data-driven recommendations for sales strategies.
Work closely with production, operations, and transportation teams to ensure timely
delivery of products, resolve any customer issues, and maintain high service levels.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior
management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
Weekly new sales development calls with the sales group, populated by the Sales Manager,
will occur.
Weekly meetings and regular interaction with the CEO to discuss new developments
opportunities, product review, and gross margin analysis in key products
Preferred Skills
Bilingual (Spanish)
Proven negotiation and closing skills, with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales
targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and other sales-related tools.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of success in Ethnic sales channels with at least 5 years of
experience. (food or food manufacturing preferred)
Strong knowledge of process manufacturing operations, market dynamics, and
customer needs.
