


About the Role
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for bringing new products, services, and differentiated technology to our customers and prospects. The Business Development Manager will work with prospective & existing customers as well as industry buying groups focused on driving new revenue opportunities.
Key Activities
Develop customized market strategies by customer/prospect that align with new business strategy and quotas
Overseeing and managing client relationships with respect to potential new business with current and future clients.
Leads all business development and selling activities like customer proposals, account sales analysis, and business reviews with C suites/ownership
Lead sales meetings with clients and new accounts to educate their sales staff on our wholesale program
Ability to achieve/exceed defined sales and profit targets.
Preferred Skills
We use an internal CRM inside our TMS.
We have subscriptions to DAT, ITS, ZoomInfo, etc.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree.
At least 5-10 years of related experience.
A very strong Book of Business is required, with experience in both inside and outside sales in the logistics space.
