


About the Role
The Admissions & Intake Coordinator will manage the intake process from initial inquiry to admission, ensuring accurate documentation and a compassionate experience for all applicants.
Key Activities
Respond to inquiries from clients, families, and referral sources.
Conduct pre-admission assessments and screenings.
Coordinate insurance verification and authorization for services.
Collaborate with clinical and nursing teams for intake scheduling.
Maintain accurate and confidential intake records and data entry.
Provide tours and orientation for new clients and families.
Preferred Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
Education and Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Psychology, or related field.
Previous experience in admissions or intake in a behavioral health setting preferred.
