About the Role

The Commissary Operations Manager will ensure efficient planning, production, and distribution of prepared foods while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The manager will lead teams, build operational systems, manage budgets, and partner with leadership to drive growth and operational excellence.

Key Activities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in flexible packaging across food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, and other industries.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners.

  • Manage and mentor the regional sales team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability.

  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics for senior management.

  • Collaborate with marketing, production, and supply chain teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery.

  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote products and expand the client base.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and develop actionable strategies.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging Technology, or related field (MBA preferred).

  • 7+ years of proven sales experience in the flexible packaging industry or related packaging sectors.

  • Strong understanding of flexible packaging materials such as films, laminates, pouches, bags, and labels.
