


About the Role
The Diesel Mechanic/Technician will possess strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance practices to ensure safe and efficient vehicle operation
Key Activities
Assist with diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel engines, brakes, suspensions, and drivetrains.
Perform preventative maintenance, oil changes, filter replacements, and DOT inspections under supervision.
Support senior technicians with larger repairs, learning advanced processes and use of diagnostic tools.
Maintain shop tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
Document all work performed according to shop standards.
Stay engaged in ongoing training and skill development opportunities.
Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of diesel engines, truck systems, and standard tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (vocational/technical diesel program preferred).
1–3 years of diesel repair or maintenance experience (internships, apprenticeships, or shop experience accepted).
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, but not required).
