


About the Role
The Clinical Director will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based care. This role involves direct supervision of clinical staff, compliance oversight, community engagement, and collaboration with administrative and medical teams to ensure effective and integrated program delivery.
Key Activities
Provide clinical guidance, leadership, and supervision to counsellors, therapists, and other clinical staff.
Ensure adherence to ethical standards, clinical best practices, and professional guidelines.
Oversee the development and implementation of individualised treatment plans based on assessments and client needs.
Ensure all treatment approaches are grounded in evidence-based practices.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CARF, OSHA).
Monitor program performance and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Lead the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of clinical staff.
Manage staff scheduling, professional development, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Collaborate with a third-party billing provider for financial operations, including data sharing and coordination of billing-related processes.
Provide immediate support and direction during client or staff crises, ensuring safety and continuity of care.
Engage in ongoing education and training to stay current with developments in clinical practices, licensing standards, and treatment innovations.
Work closely with administrative and medical personnel to ensure the delivery of integrated, client-centred care.
Promote communication and coordination across departments to enhance service effectiveness.
Preferred Skills
Strong knowledge of clinical practices, regulatory standards, and behavioural health systems.
Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and data management systems.
Education and Experience
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field.
Current and valid clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent).
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
