


About the Role
The Maintenance Technician will be knowledgeable about mechanical systems and can effectively troubleshoot issues. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential.
Key Activities
Locate breakdowns and carry out the necessary repairs.
Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic checks on equipment.
Install, align, dismantle, and move fixed industrial machinery or mechanical equipment (pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, etc.).
Participate in the development of a preventive maintenance program for equipment.
Read plans, diagrams, and schematics to determine the method of proceeding.
Adhere to the health and safety policies and procedures, good manufacturing practices, and HACCP/SQF programs.
Maintains OSHA/corporate set guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Must be knowledgeable in equipment Lock-Out/Tag-Out requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills
Able to work flexible hours and overtime as business needs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment.
Able to function in a team environment through communication and cooperation.
Education and Experience
Experience in the food manufacturing sector.
Experience in electromechanics, mechanical manufacturing, or other relevant training.
Strong attention to detail and ability to intervene safely, quickly, and effectively.
