


About the Role
The Safety and Quality Manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing compliance programs while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. While this role has no direct reports, the manager will collaborate closely with two employees who currently hold quality-related responsibilities within other divisions and act as key support resources.
Key Activities
Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of safety and quality programs aligned with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Oversee compliance with OSHA, industry, and customer requirements to maintain safe and high-performing operations.
Coordinate and support regulatory audits and inspections, ensuring timely preparation of documentation and responses to inquiries.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance, product quality, and regulatory compliance.
Facilitate safety training programs and quality awareness meetings across diverse teams.
Serve as the point of contact for safety-related incidents, including on-call support in the event of injuries during early or late shifts (starting at 4:30 AM or 11 PM).
Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure consistent implementation of safety and quality standards throughout the organisation.
Travel within Orange, Los Angeles, and Riverside counties to support audits, inspections, and warehouse visits as needed.
Preferred Skills
Experience leading training initiatives and facilitating meetings across diverse groups.
Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, quality management, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in compliance, safety, or quality management, ideally within a regulated manufacturing environment.
