About the Role

The Safety and Quality Manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing compliance programs while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. While this role has no direct reports, the manager will collaborate closely with two employees who currently hold quality-related responsibilities within other divisions and act as key support resources.

Key Activities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of safety and quality programs aligned with regulatory requirements and company standards.

  • Oversee compliance with OSHA, industry, and customer requirements to maintain safe and high-performing operations.

  • Coordinate and support regulatory audits and inspections, ensuring timely preparation of documentation and responses to inquiries.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance, product quality, and regulatory compliance.

  • Facilitate safety training programs and quality awareness meetings across diverse teams.

  • Serve as the point of contact for safety-related incidents, including on-call support in the event of injuries during early or late shifts (starting at 4:30 AM or 11 PM).

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure consistent implementation of safety and quality standards throughout the organisation.

  • Travel within Orange, Los Angeles, and Riverside counties to support audits, inspections, and warehouse visits as needed.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience leading training initiatives and facilitating meetings across diverse groups.

  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, quality management, or a related field (preferred).

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in compliance, safety, or quality management, ideally within a regulated manufacturing environment.
