About the Role
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for providing maintenance support with all production-related needs, working alongside planners and schedulers on the processes.
Key Activities
Performance of duties assigned with focus on safety, quality (of product and task), and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment as directed.
Always work safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
Execute work orders on time as assigned by the planner/scheduler, Manager, or other management members, in the proper priority.
Troubleshoot and Repair High Speed Filling and Packaging Equipment.
Calibration of any/all equipment and instruments as assigned.
Support all Production needs, as necessary, leading and assisting on the production line
changeovers.
Repair and maintain mechanical equipment, including fillers, case packers, conveyor systems, palletizers, water purification/filtration systems, and other production equipment.
Continuous improvement in the speed and accuracy of product changeovers and preventative maintenance plans.
Responsible for housekeeping of all work areas during and following the performed work.
Responsible for housekeeping of all maintenance shops and parts storage areas as assigned.
Preferred Skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
Five years of experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
An engineering background and/or experience is desired
