About the Role

The Production Supervisor will ensure safety, product quality, and productivity while promoting teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Key Activities

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of machine operators and packers to meet production schedules and quality standards.

  • Lead and develop the 2nd shift team across production, maintenance, and quality, ensuring safety, customer satisfaction, and productivity that align with financial targets.

  • Work closely with maintenance and quality personnel to meet business objectives.

  • Utilise lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, 5-Whys, PDCA/SDCA cycles, SMED, and waste reduction to improve the value chain.

  • Maintain situational awareness across the production floor; effectively multitask and manage priorities in real time.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical issues; assist with maintenance when possible.

  • Train, coach, and motivate employees in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and quality.

  • Maintain housekeeping and enforce safety standards throughout the facility.

  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation, both verbally and electronically.

  • Provide accurate production reporting and documentation.

  • Oversee shift security and facility safety.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills

  • Prefer experience in GMP/cGMP or regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or high-speed packaging environment.

  • Proven mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting experience.
