About the Role

The Domestic Logistics Sales Executive will be responsible for directing sales efforts to expand our client's customer base. This role will be responsible for generating new business and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded across all lines of business.

Key Activities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic logistics and transportation services.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and industry trends.

  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to clients.

  • Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts with customers while ensuring profitability.

  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of logistics solutions.

  • Monitor customer accounts, resolve issues, and provide after-sales support.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions in CRM tools.

  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.

  • Stay updated on competitors’ activities, industry regulations, and logistics innovations.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of North American transportation lanes and carrier relationships.

  • Strong record of adding new accounts and client retention.

Education and Experience

  • A highly experienced sales and operations professional with at least 5 years of success in the freight brokerage industry.

  • FTL / LTL.

  • Hazmat shipping.
