


About the Role
The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production for a dedicated manufacturing unit, including line performance, quality assurance, and GMP compliance.
Key Activities
Lead daily production operations across one full manufacturing unit, ensuring targets for safety, quality, cost, and delivery are met.
Manage a team of 30–35 production staff, including scheduling, performance reviews, coaching, and workforce development.
Ensure full compliance with GMPs and maintain accurate documentation within the ERP system.
Partner with Quality to uphold regulatory and customer standards, including GFSI/BRC, SQF, HACCP, and FDA/USDA requirements.
Conduct and participate in Safety, Quality, and 6S audits, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 6S, and other CI tools to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and increase yield.
Analyse production data to identify trends, drive corrective actions, and support operational decision-making.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Sanitation, Supply Chain, and QA to ensure seamless production flow.
Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis efforts to quickly resolve production issues.
Preferred Skills
Proven experience driving Continuous Improvement initiatives (Lean, 6S, Six Sigma).
Excellent leadership and people development skills with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Food Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of leadership experience within food or beverage manufacturing.
Strong understanding of ERP systems, GMP compliance, and production data tracking.
Working knowledge of GFSI/BRC, SQF, GMP, HACCP, and related quality and safety standards.
