About the Role

The Maintenance Manager will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant equipment and utilities while driving continuous improvement in maintenance systems, reliability, and uptime.

Key Activities

  • Lead and develop a team of 12–15 Maintenance Technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Plan, prioritize, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.

  • Manage daily troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation systems.

  • Maintain compliance with GFSI/BRC, SQF, HACCP, GMP, and all regulatory and company safety standards.

  • Partner with Production, Quality, and Engineering to support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and line improvements.

  • Oversee spare parts inventory and vendor relationships to ensure critical components are available.

  • Utilize SAP or other ERP systems to manage maintenance work orders, asset history, and reporting.

  • Analyze maintenance metrics to identify trends, root causes, and implement corrective actions.

  • Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and internal EHS programs.

Preferred Skills

  • Demonstrated success leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced, multi-line production environment.

  • Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, GFSI/BRC, and SQF food safety standards.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field, or equivalent technical experience.

  • 8+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in food, beverage, or regulated manufacturing environments.
