About the Role
The Line Lead is responsible for overseeing daily production line operations to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards. This role coordinates team members, monitors production processes, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals.
Key Activities
Assist the Line Lead with daily production line operations.
Monitor product flow, line speed, and team performance to meet production targets.
Coordinate staff assignments to maintain efficiency and quality.
Identify and report equipment or material issues to maintenance or supervisors.
Ensure the production area meets safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.
Train and support new or temporary workers on job duties and procedures.
Assist with basic documentation such as shift counts, downtime, or defects.
Communicate effectively with warehouse, quality, and maintenance teams.
Preferred Skills
Ability to follow instructions, lead by example, and work well with a team.
Basic understanding of food safety and workplace safety procedures.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while standing for extended periods.
Education and Experience
Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is required.
1+ year of experience in a lead or support role on a production line preferred.
