About the Role
The Lab Technician is responsible for conducting routine laboratory tests, sampling, and analyses to ensure that raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet quality and safety standards. This role supports quality control, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts within the production environment.
Key Activities
Quality control testing of raw materials, in-process, bulk and finished product samples.
Management and recording of third-party laboratory results related to raw material, bulk and finished product samples.
Calibration of in-house laboratory instruments used in conjunction with testing.
Calibration of scales used throughout the location.
Preferred Skills
Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations.
Good time management skills.
Education and Experience
2-year degree in Biology or Chemistry.
Previous laboratory experience.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
