


About the Role
The Director of Sales will lead new business development and build strong customer relationships. This is an individual contributor role, not a management position, designed for a sales leader who thrives on actively generating leads, converting opportunities, and driving revenue in a Business-to-Business environment.
Key Activities
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across targeted B2B sectors.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through proactive outreach, networking, and strategic market research.
Build, strengthen, and nurture long-term customer relationships to support repeat business and account growth.
Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, without reliance on a sales support team.
Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product/service demonstrations to drive engagement and deal progression.
Prepare sales proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to customer needs and business objectives.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract agreements to achieve profitable outcomes.
Partner with internal stakeholders to align customer requirements with operational capabilities.
Provide ongoing reporting on sales results, pipeline status, forecasts, and market insights.
Contribute to strategic discussions around market positioning, sales priorities, and growth strategy.
Preferred Skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities with discipline and a high degree of self-motivation.
Willingness to work primarily on-site with regular travel to customer locations as required.
Education and Experience
7+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in injection molding or manufacturing-related markets.
Proven success in building new business, independently driving the sales process, and exceeding revenue targets.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
