About the Role

The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and developing strong customer relationships within the seafood industry. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and promoting the company’s seafood products to distributors, retailers, restaurants, and food service partners.

Key Activities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market-share targets.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within retail, food service, and wholesale channels.

  • Manage and grow existing client accounts through regular follow-ups and service excellence.

  • Promote the company’s seafood product portfolio, highlighting quality, freshness, sourcing, and certifications.

  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product demos, and pricing proposals.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable deals.

  • Coordinate with procurement and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.

  • Track sales performance, maintain accurate records, and prepare regular progress reports.

  • Attend seafood industry expos, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage multiple accounts.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales reporting.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

  • 2–5 years of sales experience, ideally in seafood, frozen foods, or FMCG.

  • Strong knowledge of seafood products, supply chain, and industry standards.
