About the Role

The Outside Sales Representative is to drive new business growth across the region. This individual will be responsible for building and managing a personal book of business, developing strong customer relationships, and representing the company’s full suite of transportation solutions.

Key Activities

  • Develop and grow a personal book of business by identifying new opportunities within the transportation and logistics space.

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new accounts across the assigned territory.

  • Maintain long-term customer relationships, providing ongoing support and problem-solving.

  • Conduct in-person client visits, presentations, and meetings to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Track activities, pipeline, and performance metrics using CRM tools.

  • Stay updated on market trends, customer challenges, and competitive offerings.

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.

  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned region as needed.

Education and Experience

  • 3–5+ years of outside sales experience in transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, or a closely related industry.

  • Proven ability to build and sustain a book of business.

  • Strong hunter mentality with a focus on relationship-based selling.
