About the Role

The Sales Director will lead and expand our retail and wholesale sales channels across the U.S. We are seeking a seasoned sales professional with strong networks in the retail and wholesale IVD/medical device market and a proven track record of driving revenue growth. This role will be responsible for strategic sales planning, channel development, key account management, and overall sales execution.

Key Activities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand retail and wholesale distribution of IVD diagnostic kits.

  • Identify, establish, and manage relationships with key retail chains, wholesalers, distributors, and strategic partners.

  • Achieve sales targets and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.

  • Build and maintain strong networks within the U.S. retail and wholesale markets.

  • Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to guide product positioning and sales strategies.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, R&D, Operations, Regulatory) to support product launches and customer requirements.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and performance reporting.

  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team as the business grows.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience launching diagnostic products into retail markets (e.g., pharmacies, big-box retailers).

  • Familiarity with reimbursement pathways, FDA-regulated products, and healthcare compliance.

Education and Experience

  • 10+ years of sales experience in medical devices, diagnostics, or related healthcare sectors.

  • Established network and proven relationships within retail and wholesale distribution channels in the United States.

  • Strong knowledge of IVD market dynamics, product distribution, and B2B sales.

  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, closing complex deals, and managing key accounts.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
