


About the Role
The HVAC Technical Services and Training Manager will develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs for customers and service technicians while maintaining comprehensive training records. Act as a role model and subject matter expert, ensuring the company’s commitment to cultivating the industry's highest quality customer service and support.
Key Activities
Perform job duties in accordance with the company vision, mission, and values.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal departments, vendors, customers, and service contractors.
Provide high-level technical support to customer service, sales, and warranty teams—assisting with troubleshooting, application solutions, and complex field support issues. Act as a customer-facing technical ambassador, identifying opportunities to enhance customer service and generate qualified leads for sales without functioning as a salesperson.
Training curriculum development and delivery of structured training programs specific to HVAC systems, including components, operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and application best practices.
Manage time efficiently to ensure that training programs, assignments, and special projects are completed promptly.
Support the promotion of company services and available product resources to enhance awareness and engagement within the company's end markets.
Monitor communication channels to proactively identify the training needs of employees and customers.
Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of all equipment distributed by the company to support internal and external stakeholders.
Develop high-quality training resources tailored to the evolving needs of the company across multiple mediums (face-to-face, TEAMS, video, etc.). Comfortable creating video training content and collaborating on basic editing as needed.
Preferred Skills
Previous experience delivering technical training to adult learners strongly preferred.
Familiarity with digital photography equipment and basic editing skills a plus.
Education and Experience
Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, including DX equipment up to 50 tons, mini-splits, chilled water systems, DOAS, and speciality products.
Minimum 5–10 years of commercial HVAC experience, with deep knowledge that exceeds the capabilities of an average commercial technician.
